Globally, the population is on the rise and the numbers double day by day whichtherefore affect energy resource availability to accommodate the highdemand. Currently, the primary source of energy is fossil fuels whichhave different limitation since, at one point, it will get depleted.Additionally, its usage has dangerous effects on the ecosystem as theemissions from its leads to some percentages of global warming whichis a threat to living organism’s life (Walsh, 2014). In connectionto this, it calls for more innovations that can lead to therealization of a safe environment for future life.
Witha high number of people, there is a relative increase in the numberof transport modes such as vehicles. Many of these vehicles stillpose old technologies whereby they depend wholly on fossil fuelswhich are a threat due to high levels of carbon emissions (Walsh,2014). Following this perspective, the world should revolve at arapid speed towards the adoption of safe energy use such as hydrogenand ethanol which do not have harmful effects as fossil fuels. Someof the nations which have taken this safe initiative of using ethanolare Brazil, and many other countries should imitate the trend.Additionally, there is more involvement in other technologieswhereby, currently there are self-driving cars available, and in thiscase, fuel consumption gets reduced to lower levels. Currently, thereis still more research towards the invention of other more efficientvehicles with the ability to interpret various kinds of maps withease, and therefore distances can be shortened.
Peoplehave been working around the clock around the world to have moderncities, with low carbon emissions. For example, in UAE, there is atown called utopian which has invested on underground road networkswhich have advantages as compared to the surface roads since it isnot exposed. Further, most of the buildings in the city are unique intheir construction since they utilize some materials with thecapability of lowering extreme temperatures and as a result, therewill be no consumption of energy to drive other devices for coolingpurposes. The city has also taken advantage of naturally occurringsunlight where their personnel works on a production of renewableenergy and further fed into grid system which is again driven byrenewable enable source hence environmental friendly (Mignon, &Bergek, 2016).
Tosum up, the world should embrace modern technologies to make futurelife better for the generation to come. When timely done, cases ofenergy shortage will get eliminated as the renewable sources shallhave to take the lead. Following this perspective, people attitudeshave to change in a way that they use their knowledge and acquiredskills to ensure that the environment remains safer and beneficialfor use.
