Designing Lesson Plans
Lessonsplan is an illustration of learning activities. It is important inthe education sector because it describes the purpose and goals ofthe academic tasks. The plan also indicates the strategies that theadministrators, instructors, and teachers can use in achieving theaims of each academic activity. The teacher shouldcommunicate in an audible voice to enable learners with hearingchallenges understand the academic instructions and activities. Thesitting arrangement of the class should be arranged to enablestudents with sight challenges to occupy the front seats. This willenable them to observe and understanding the instructions written bythe teacher (Morrison, 2013). The accommodations in the lesson planenhance the role of special educators in monitoring and improving theacademic performance of learners with disabilities.
Themodifications of the lesson plan are important in ensuring thesuccess of the IEP. Students with disabilities are motivated toachieve academic goals by enhancing their understanding through theindividualized program. All instructors should revise the lessonplans to accommodate the IEP activities.
