Falkirk Council offers children Services including Home Schooling Program for young kids aged between four to seven years. The Home schooling program offers education services for home schooling children at nursery stage. The teachers work closely with children and parents to create a happy, relaxed and supportive environment for learning and teaching. Also, this program provides parents with a greater opportunity to make significant contributions to the education of your child. The Council provides parents with different opportunities to offer your opinion towards your child’s education. The program has provided opportunities for parents to discuss the progress of your child with her or his personal teacher. Also, there will be events for parents organized by the Council that will be spread throughout the year and each event will address a specific theme. These events will provide parents with opportunity to contribute to the decision making and plans for education in Falkirk. We look forward to establishing an education partnership with your support. There are many advantages that come with homeschooling, as well as challenges. However, with concerted effort of every stakeholders, the challenges can be overcome easily, as we make use of the available advantages.
The overall philosophy of the Falkirk Council is to offer young kids with education resources for them to obtain quality basic foundation in education. The Council believes that the needs of the young kids should be met through personal level. Through home schooling program, the young kids will be able to learn various subjects that would foster their acquisition of basic knowledge. We as members of the Franklin Council are looking forward to have your child in our home schooling program. We believe your child will have the best education this year as we have provided a new and unique curriculum for our program that suits the needs of every child.

The Goals of Home Schooling Program
