Fire at Warehouse
Last year during summer, a raging fire at a warehouse nearby awokeus in our local town. The incident happened 2 am on Sunday morning, and many people were surprised by the property destruction they werewitnessing. In total, the fire caused a damage of $ 2, 000,000,which was the highest to have ever occurred in my community. Thefire had engulfed the entire warehouse. The fire management teamtook 2hrs to extinguish the fire, due to high volumes of water thatwere needed. After the fire extinguishers had managed to combat thefire, it had caused an enormous distraction to most of the buildingand 90% of the stock inside. The fire could have spread to thewhole town and cause severe damage, thanks to the quick and effectivefire management team in our local town. They employed the currenttechnology equipment and skills and were able to put out the firebefore it caused injuries to the nearby residents.
Many stories rentedthe air regarding the cause of the fire. The warehouse had nohistory of fire break out since it was established. Variousindividuals perceived a faulty electricity line in the warehousecaused the fire. Nevertheless, the warehouse back doors were openwhen we arrived at the scene. As a result, there was a possibledeliberate crime.
The local governmentwas alarmed by the issue and pledged to conduct thoroughinvestigations. After a scrutiny that lasted for one week, it becameevident that the fire resulted due to an attempted crime. Thesuspected criminals had interfered with the electric lines at theback of the warehouse in order to prevent the security personnel fromutilizing the alarms or to identify their locations easily. Thelocal government officials and the police officer urged the securityindividuals to be more vigilant during the nighttime, and raise analarm in case of theft in order to prevent similar occurrences.
