I do not agree withthe statement that individuals make decisions as opposed toorganizations. Thriving organizations are composed of managers andworkforces who have vast experience in different areas. The employeesand managers collaborate in making key decisions in theorganizations. The paper disputes the statement that key decisionsare made by individuals and not an entire organization.
I believe for harmony to coexist in every organization, allstakeholder must agree on terms and conditions of operation. As aresult, organizational decision-making is essential for theadvancement of all firms. If specific individuals such as managersare allowed to make decisions, they may be perceived to bedictatorial. In addition, without contributions of the entireworkforce, organizations operate devoid of important contributionsfrom the employees. Intrinsic motivation is released which thecontribution of every member of a firm is valued. One way ofencouraging individuals to deliver to the optimum level and workwithout fear or losing their jobs is welcoming their views (McShane& Glinow, 2016). Consequently, the impact oforganizational decision-making cannot be undervalued. Clients areable to spot organizations that work under unity, where they becomeloyal as factors such as communications and speed tend to beenhanced. Organizational decision-making improves the reputation ofan organization. Thus, decision-making works best where there is acollection agreement in an organization.
In conclusion, Idisapprove the statement that organizational decision-making ispointless. Individuals’ views in most cases delay the progress of agiven organization.
