SUBJECT:Proposalfor Alterations and Extensions of KFC
KentuckyFried Chicken, which is among the American most successful fast foodrestaurant chains, has managed to attract consumers from around theworld. The enterprise retains its high reputation not only because ofits unique food, but also because of their R&D team, whichensures that they learn about their buyer’s needs, and at the sametime, meet their satisfaction. However, like any other business, KFChas managed to secure market positions in 118 countries with over18,875 outlets. Therefore, this report is formulated for CollinsRestaurant Management Pty Ltd to scrutinize the modification andincorporation to the prevailing KFC Restaurant in Queensland, especially 30-32 Hinton Street as well as 25 Nebo Road, Mackay.
Background
Apparently, two activities are involved in the development of KFC whileconsidering the subject area. Firstly, the extension of the existingKFC restaurants, which includes refurbishing, retaining and modifyingthe restaurants in the region. The process engages in addingallotment to advance car park. Secondly, adding extra land in thesubject area to allow all forms of extension.
ProposedStrategy and Work Plan
Presently, various developments can be implemented to help the KFC Restaurant. To begin with, the dining room, which extends towards Nebo Road, willundergo reconfiguration. In such case, there will be enough generalshapes while at the same time, conserving setbacks, which are steadywith one of the existing building. On the front side of the store, the doors will be reconfigured, hence equipping automatic doors whilemaintaining the actual display. However, a glazing area will beprovided to ensure there are direct visual loops both from Nebo Roadand the dining room.
Next, the car park will undergo reconfiguration through its augmentation. An additional allotment will be added to increase the number ofvehicles in the area. The Gross Floor Area (GFA) will be heightenedfrom 275m2 by 45m2, hence equaling to 20m2. More importantly, aparking space that will accommodate 29 cars will be created. It willincorporate a complete on-site maneuverability, hence helping RCV/HRVto ingress the suggested loading bay.
Further, within the Hinton Street setback, there will be an increase inchances for landscaping. The already prevailing pedestrian pathwaywill be terminated, hence leaving customers using the newly builttrail. Precisely, the new pedestrian will motivate the consumers towalk along the footpath from the parking lot. It will also becomfortable to access the store along Hinton Street (MacMahon, Smith& Lawrence, 2015). Notably, this arrangement will help the storeto enhance equitable access.
Method
Nevertheless,to ensure that KFC manages to add and extend the prevailing KFCRestaurant, it must first conduct a survey of the subject area.Precisely, the company should engage with Collins RestaurantManagement Pty Ltd, which helps in perceiving the people’s way oflife within the area. In the modern world, for instance, consumershave become more concentrated on how well a particular corporationembraces it culture (Schiffman et al. 2013). Therefore, apprehendingabout how people live in the area will also help to estimate the costof running the entire operation.

It will help to achievehigher performances through designing a working environment thatcorrelates with cultures of the people. Further, the proposal allowsthe establishment of efficient measures that will not compromise therelationship between residents in the area and the KTC Restaurant.
Recommendations

Therefore, the management shouldconsider the impact of cultural issues and how approving the proposalwill help to deal with them (Schiffman et al. 2013).
