AsChristians, the Bible shapes most of our ideas and ways of living. Many Christians apply what the Bible says into their daily lives. TheBible is used as a guiding tool in man’s life. The manner one leadsa Christian life is influenced by the people around, the culture andthe church one attends (Davis,Ryken & Ryken, 2012).Knowing the conditions of one’s flocks, according to Proverbs 27:23, can be applied in business and personal lives in different ways.
Havinga prosperous and profitable business is good because it is allowed. For a business to thrive and close in on the profit margins, goodstrategies must be in place and implemented. The downfall of abusiness can occur at any time if it is not taken care of. The worldis changing at a hastened rate, and it is full of sinful people.Individuals can bring down a business or the global changes.Businesses and jobs have been lost around the world due to thingslike the law. Business is considered a blessing from God, and so itshould be taken care off. Knowing the condition of the flock appliesin business in the sense that one needs to know the threats to thefirm and how to handle them. It is paramount to know the customerbase and what they need for one to give excellent service and retainthe customers. A business person should observe the trends in themarket to remain afloat in cases when the business or job is nolonger secure. The other vital aspects include looking into thefuture, foreseeing and learning new skills, and implementation of newideas in the business. Thus, knowing one’s flock means planning andpreparing for the firm or job and keeping the business marketable.
Ona personal level, one needs to understand the people around him orher from family to friends and even neighbors. In so doing, he or shecan understand the different requirements of each and how to help intimes of crisis. It is easy to relate to individuals one knows theirpersonalities and attributes. By knowing one another, it is possibleto overlook selfishness and be selfless in giving and assisting. Justas in the Bible, the shepherds knew what their flocks needed whenthey were sick and where to take them for grazing. It is valuable tomake use of one’s eyes to see and conduct research rather thanrelying on someone else’s observations.
Tosum up, knowing the market trends and how the business is done isimportant. Moreover, it is critical to appreciate the nature of one`sbusiness, what is needed to transcend it to another level, and how toremain relevant in the market. Understanding and knowing one anotheron a personal level strengthens relationships and understanding ofneeds. The Bible guides the manner individuals conduct their lives asChristians
