Obamacareis a United States federal law that was enacted to transform hospitalpractices to bring about better health outcomes at lower costs. Itwas designed to boost the quality of health insurance and also itsaffordability. The law needs insurance companies to acceptapplications from individuals from different races and charge themequal rates regardless of their sex or other situations[ CITATION Dan16 l 1033 ].However, there are still people who donot possess an insurance cover. This paper discusses steps on how tofigure out what are the hindrances preventing the individuals fromapplying health insurance covers, probable programs that can fixthese issues, and the source of salaries for the individuals runningthis program.
Healthcareproviders should have some strategies that they require to figure outwhy people are still not applying for Obamacare. The first step isconsulting their patients who do not have a health insurance coverthe reasons that hinder them from applying the covers. Second,healthcare providers should look for public opinions regarding theObamacare law to know what issues may hinder them from applying forthe cover. Also, medical practitioners should understand theprovisions of the Obamacare law and analyze if in any way they canhinder individuals from applying insurance overs.
Healthpractitioners should put in place educational and community-basedprograms to help reduce the number of individuals without healthinsurance covers. These programs are designed to communicate topeople with ancient health care settings by increasing theirawareness and importance of health insurance. For a community toenhance its health, individuals must change their political,physical, social and organizational environment to eliminate somefactors that are large contributors to the health disputes. Inaddition, these programs help introduce new principles that boostbetter health.
