Sweet Mapple Concept of Doing Things Right
SweetMapple: Concept of Doing Things Right
Ihave always loved eating in restaurants I think I have had too manyhome-made foods. The Sweet Mapple is one outstanding restaurant thatI took the time to observe and get the concept that they use in theirmode of service provision, the setting of the restaurant and the menuthat they offer. The restaurant is located in San Francisco and ittook over the former Cassis, interestingly a location that was deemedaccursed for a restaurant space. However, the ‘swarm` of people whostreamed into the beehive-like restaurant was amazing. The aroma inthe restaurant was just amazing with a setting that allowed enoughfresh air and ambiance into the restaurant and the room was spaciousenough to create comfort. I sat down, made an order, in this case, Idecided to order the famous dish associated with Sweet Mapple, theMillionaire`s Bacon. It was a great dish, especially for breakfastand it was relatively cheap too.
Mywork here was to observe. As I entered, I noticed the flashy andappealing, the exterior represented a hut-like structure warm andinviting with the company`s logo conspicuously calling for customers.I got served but with a little delay of about six minutes, but Icould not blame them, the orders being made were interestinglyoverwhelming the workforce, but they nevertheless kept a fast moveand a served great breakfast. The interesting thing was that thewaiters kept on checking on the customers to see if they neededanything. I noted the warmth in the place, as people enjoyed theirmeals. I noted that everything that was served at Sweet Mapple wasjust classic, the concept was to serve an ‘old-school` Americanbreakfast and lunch using modern interesting and sophisticated menususing locally sourced organic ingredients that were meant to capturethe heart of the customer.
Themajor concept is to create a new breakfast and brunch experience forthe customers by providing quality food with a wide variety of menuswhere there is everything for everyone using a customer orientedapproach by creating attention to the customer in a warm environment. The service was great and it aligned with the concept used. The foodmay have been a little expensive, but the experience was worth it.Customers seemed to delight and felt at ‘home`. When it came to themenu, its contents could tell you that you were here to be surprised. Each meal or rather type of order was well stipulated and theingredients that it is usually made with, to help customers relatewith what they are eating. All I could hear was, "more of whathe or she is having please…" Such meals as the Potato Medley,Millionaire`s Bacon, JD Bacon, eggs, omelets, scrambles, the MorningTacos and the southern among multiple other types of meals made themenu interesting. The names they were given also made the customerscurious and just wanted to try this and that. I found that the mu andthe food aligned with the concept of quality food, better service andthe use of local organic ingredients to make breakfast and brunch ahilarious experience.
Theprices on the foods seemed to range between $39 and $2 depending onthe complexity of the order and its quality presentation andpreparation. I figured this to be a favorably average fair price forthe customers as the range meant that anyone had something to orderthere depending on the money they had or the preference of the order.I noted that Sweet Mapple has become a great competitor in theneighborhood as other restaurants were not even being noted, they hadat least half the number of people lining up at Sweet Mapple for the"Americanized breakfast and lunch". The concept of greatservice, unique and quality dish, and a hilarious brunch experiencewas indeed being executed by Sweet Mapple.
Notonly did the restaurant have a direct customer service, but Ihappened to browse their website and found out that they have anonline ordering platform where delivery was very swift. Their websiteis full of pictures of a huge variety of the tantalizing and invitingmeals that they have. Just by getting to the site, one is tempted tomake an order. Secondly, the live support is always alert ready torespond to customer queries, orders or even delivery-confirmations. Ifound out that the value proposition of Sweet Mapple is to give thecommunity a great experience in breakfast and lunch by availingquality and special types of Americanized dishes. The concept ofbeing customer cantered and ready to avail a different experience tothe customer was indeed witnessed. It is thus an overall concept ofdoing things the right way so as to remain relevant.
