Response1on Discussion1
It is true thatthe non-profit and for-profit organizations do differ. I enjoyed thedifferences discussed by the author concerning the non-profitorganizations and for-profit organizations. I agree that non-profitorganizations are more concerned with social satisfaction whereas theprofit organizations are concerned with growing revenues and profits(Worth, 2011). It is amazing how theseorganizations can be venturing in the same business, but they havedifferent objectives. The other interesting aspect of the two teamsis how they measure their success.
I enjoyed thepart that discussed the similarities between the groups. The two areconcerned with the stakeholders and their set goals. I concur withthe author that it is difficult to differentiate the two types oforganizations unless one uses the difference as the coredistinguishing factors.
Response 2 on Discussion2
I concur withthe author that there exist difference and similarities in the profitand non-profit organizations. I like the difference that the authorhas discussed as they give the organization a sense of identity. Someprofit making organizations can involve themselves in corporatesocial responsibility even though that is not their core business. The involvement in such activities is to improve the company’simage (Fritz, 2017). The idea isconsistent with the author’s discussion when he says that someprofit organizations involve themselves in the social life ofpersons.
I like thesimilarity that has been put across concerning the two agencies. Thetwo companies are up to satisfy their customers, and that is verytrue. It is enjoyable the ay the author explains the similarity. Thenonprofit organizations meet their clients in a compassionate waywhile the profit making organizations do satisfy their customersthrough the provision of quality goods and services. I support theauthor as he puts it that the best way is to consider the sources offinance and the goals of the organization.
