Recently,a health organization that I work for has observed a significantchange in the history of patients attending for health services.Through our record, the leadership revealed introduction of newillnesses, and some of these diseases had been dealt with few yearspassed for example the influenza virus. The recurrent of illness hasthus raised a question to know their sources to determine the bestapproach that will avoid spreading like before. Additionally, thenumber of patients attending the hospital has increased almost adouble to average population attendants. For the sake of individual’ssafety and health care concerns, we, therefore, seek to conductwindshield findings on a population as an approach toproblem-solving.
Thehousing-New and modern structures houses are constructed along theresidential roads, surrounded by trees which inhabitants use asshelters. The properties, houses, are occupied by parents with two tothree children. The spacing of the houses is not much significant, probably ten to twenty meters from the neighborhood. Typically, thekids play together hiding in the bushes around. The new structurescan get distinguished from old assets by paints, but only a fewhouses have maintained the painting. Also, there are other buildingslike the garages, school, business shops, bar and restaurants locatedin a nearby small town. The market shops and school are accessible toall individuals including the disabled.
Streets,Parks and public spaces-The area reserved for public spaces is less than five kilometers.Hence there are less individual consuming these areas, for instanceon the playgrounds, the fields are congested making it hard to fitplayers and fans. However, the park spaces appear decentralized intosmall portions in different positions. The streets connectingresident areas and town centers got tarmac with trees alongside thepaths. Though the roads are narrow, there are spaces reserved asideas pathways. People are observed interacting on the roads especiallywhen going and coming out of the playing grounds. The streets havescattered solar panel- lights that lit minimally at night.
Businessand industry-Business activities in this area are paramount. There are industrieslocated at the far end corner of the town square producing foodproducts and other items. Within the urban center, commercialindustries like the banking systems are major while individualsespecially adults attend to small scale business like groceriesshops. The stores are owned by people of different ethnics, likeIndians, the whites and blacks (Neal & Hosegood, 2015). Healthservice is also availed as a business operation, where privateclinics operate in small scale. Despite being few public hospitals, there are individuals conducting hospital business.
Publicservices-The service availed by the authority include schools, hospitals, security, refugee camps, and infrastructure. There are many publicschools with a vast population. The government has also availed freehealth facilities and services to small public hospitals. On top ofhealth and education system, other private sectors add to the figure.People in the camps become availed with aids like drugs, clothing, water and food. The transport system availed as public service hasless significant since it is unreliable to use. The trains have weakmanagement making people opt for other personal means. However, fewhighways can accommodate a traffic burden. Along the pathway, individual walks or use bicycles especially kids when going toschool.
Population-Here,individual got different religion backgrounds which define theirculture. There are mosques and temples which tell existence ofMuslims and Indian people. However, other typical Christian churchesdominate the area. During the holidays, people enjoys recreationfacilities, both public and private, for instance, the restaurants, museum centers or the libraries. The community is mixed up withdifferent ages, gender, skin color, and languages (Neal &Hosegood, 2015). Mainly individuals interact well, a white versus ablack and vice versa and this is what that pleased me most.
Individualshave a happy life since they can communicate freely or enjoy thelimited resources and this mark an outstanding strength. People arefree to move in and out of town, even with less security service, based on less criminal cases recorded. The aspect of community’sinteraction or environment has a major concern since as far as peopleseem to enjoy themselves, they are prone to ailments. The activitieslike the industries and sporting may result in diseases outbreak andspread when hygiene maintained get poor. In a case of a diseaseemergence, the means of transmission are likely, for instance in thecrowded places such a sports grounds. The condition of a diverseyoung population raises a significant concern. The way they engage inlife activities remains a problem if accurate measures fail (Romley,Goutam & Sood, 2016). For instance, they have to become aware ofdiseases like the sexually transmitted infections, since they are themost energetic and active group in life. At home areas, someteenagers, got pets and condition of housing do not allow safecontacts with animals. As a result, illness may spread to this youngperson who in turn has exposure to transmit the problem to friendswhen interacting.
Populationincrease has been as a result of migration. According to thefindings, individuals spotted constitute different ethnicity whichimplies that their source emerges elsewhere (Schlesinger,2015).Also, there were refugee camps located in the examined area. In thisresidence, the field camps, people of different skin colors like theblack dominate. The most common health risks associated with thispopulation is communicable diseases and the STIs illness. Populationfigure composes of many teenagers who might be sexually active hencetransmitting the infections.
Toavoid a spread of any transmissible disease, health programs such asvaccinations may be emulated (Romley et al., 2016). The method isvital in controlling contagious diseases that could result in morecomplications later. Additionally, when dealing with youths, it isimportant to administer guiding and counseling services. The programcould succeed well in institutions like school and health center(Neal & Hosegood, 2015). With advisory services, people like theadolescents become aware of prone diseases, and hence they heed toprecaution methods. Additionally, those inhabiting from outsidecountries should get screened for diseases to eliminate spreadingrisks.
Inconclusion, the findings from a nearby settlement expose vulnerabledetails of health conditions of people living in the place.Individuals get surrounded by risk factors like congestions andmigration programs which induce a change in our health report. Forthis matter, right measures have to employed to curb the situationearly enough.
